Services

The Atlanta Public Library offers a wide variety of services to its patrons. In addition to a collection of several thousand books, patrons also have access to Large Print, free wi-fi, desktop computers, fax/copier/printer/scanner (even documents from your mobile device!), eBooks, audiobooks, DVDs/Blu-Rays, and a growing video game collection; all available for checkout to any anyone with a current Illinois library card. The Atlanta Public Library is also a member of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) which allows patrons access to the collections of other Illinois libraries as well as a large database of eBooks.

Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, e-books, graphic novels, and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone -- and even your TV! With no waitlist, titles can be streamed immediately or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later.

Borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. You can even send and read your borrowed eBooks to your Kindle e-reader! It’s free and easy to get started for new users.

Boundless (formerly axis360)

Boundless lets you borrow audiobooks and eBooks from the comfort of your own device. You can place items on hold or add content to your Wish List for later use.
